MULTIMEDIA GRAPHICS
Digital Interior Design
Date: 2016
Medium: Adobe Photoshop
Usage: Educational digital design

Further: Starting with a photograph of a kitchen's interior design, this project required texture mapping, manual recreation of lighting and shading, making 2D shapes with dimension, and many more techniques within Photoshop. The project's overall lesson was creating a digital illustration with realistic design and painting concepts.
To accomplish the look of textures for each surface, paths were drawn in Photoshop based on the photograph, and then textures and colors were created, as well as sampled from the picture. Each path was then turned into a selection, and the texture/colors were painted into selection. The lighting was added in the end with the 'Dodging' and 'Burning' tools.
Some photographs are featured as the windows' backgrounds. This project took roughly two weeks.
Digital Clipart - Office
Date: 2016
Medium: Adobe Illustrator
Usage: Educational digital design

Further: Focusing on vector, texture-excluded graphics, this project was a part of an over class chapter on clipart. The piece began with a reference photograph, then one black shape was drawn over all the items in the scene, with gives the look of an all-incomposing outline. After that, the vector shapes were placed on top to determine where each item is. Wherever shapes overlap, the merge of color is ignored with the break of a hard black "outline"; when studying clipart, it is evedent that this is a common style for drawing simplistic graphics.
Using vector ahapes in Illustror, and leaving out all textures and lighting captured a large clipart scene. This project took about one week.
